my son has adhd and we dont health insurance. is it true we cant apply for it now because gw bush shut it down I think it depends on the state you live in. Look into income based health insurances. I know I've heard of some like Child Health Plus. Maybe a state help like medicaid. They go by your income and sometimes it can be free. Check into things like that locally or low income clinics that will work with you to get your child the help he needs. I wouldn't doubt the fact that Bush did something though. That's a whole different conversation for me though (military wife) Best of luck to you and your family. You are going to have to get your own health insurance. Do not leave it up to others to take care of your family. Get a job with health insurance and if necessary , have your husband work more than one job. How is Bush going to shut down health insurance? Isn't health insurance privately owned businesses? If you're talking medicaid or what-have-you, then who knows what that dingleberry has done. In anycase, whatever he's doing now is only to tie the hands of the Democrat who'll be in office next year, so if you hurry, Medicaid should still be good. |
