Caffeine for ADHD - how much do you take? |
I have heard from several people here on YA that take caffeine to help with their AHDH. How much do you take? I am an adult female, normal height and weight, and have inattentive type, not hyperactive type (I don't think that matters though.) Ade: Caffeine does not affect people with ADHD in the same way it affects other people (though it does not have quite the "opposite affect", like some claim.) There is no prescribed dosage that will give you enough benefit to help the ADHD brain but is tolerable. Caffeine's side effects get to be to bad when you get to levels that might actually help. Forgive me, I'm no doctor, but that sounds completely rediculous. That sounds like giving speed to a hyper child. who cares really lol. i would say that u shouldnt take alot. it may help by makin you feel better but can make u hav very bad gas. 100 mg or so. Varies a little from person to person. i've never heard of an ADHD person doing that because |
