ADHD +Adderall?

SO i just got diagnosed. and i am going through all the really fun symptoms like the nausea, dizziness, not sleeping good (not sure if thats an actually symptom but i havent sleeped through a full night since i started taking it) and then of course the crashing afterwords.

my question how long to i get use to sideeffects?

It sounds like you are taking too high a dosage. Talk to your doctor about cutting back some. You want to take enough to have the positive effects and reduce the side effects. Most likely, he/she will tell you to take 1/2 a pill and see where that leads you.

I never had any nausea or dizziness.

Sleep is so very important. If the meds interfere with your sleep then the next day, when you take it again, you will feel less the main effects (because you are sleep deprived) and still be annoyed with the side effects.

Gosh!!!!!!!!! That sounds ugly. Usually the side effects settle down after a couple of weeks. If its badly stopping you from sleeping then go back to your doc. A couple of things to think about though, Is the dose o.k for you? Are you taking meds too late in the day? Are you eating enough? As these drugs can suppress the appetite it may make your sickness and dizziness worst, try eating BEFORE you take them. Hard to say much else when i dont know how long you have been taking them.
