Adult ADHD treatment question.. please reply? |
I was diagnosed with adult ADHD last year. I am 19yr. old female. I have never been on medication for this, but would like to try some. I've been in therapy for many years, but I still have all the problems that come along with adhd.. my old doctor did not like to prescribe stimulants and instead put me on an anti-depressant (which I hated and stopped taking).. try strattera no actual stimulants also go to adhd diet this is more important than meds turn off tv after 4 pm and engage in constructive activities I can help you with this, My sister, newphews and son has Adhd. A person can be taught how to control it TO A DEGREE, and how to live with it without medication but they will always have it- it is just the way their brain is hard wired- its in... yes i agree with you. i used to be a very hyporactive kid but they never said me or my mate had ADHD now it seems most kid have ADHD ...It sounds like you are taking too high a dosage.
