ADHD and flying planes.?


Can a person with a diagnosis of ADHD and on medication be a liscensed pilot for a passenger plane?

How about for Air Canada?

It depends on the state you wish to be licensed in. In the state of Minnesota I can find no statues for aviation licensing that would prevent you from getting and holding the license. I would assume it would also depend on individual company policy for passenger planes as well.

They might be licensed - but whether they can fly on medication is different matter.

One of the books I read mentioned that ADHD people make good pilots.
