Can a father get to keep a baby over night if he is Bi-polar, ADD, ADHD, and is considered to be disabled?

my sons father is bi-polar, ADD, ADHD, OCD, he does not work, he is considered to be disabled, he can't make his own choices his mom makes them, he asked after 6 weeks of my child being born if i needed anything, he hasn't came and seen him but 3 times, he uses drugs, and he has an abusive passed with his mom and ex-girlfriends, and he lives with his new girlfriend which i do not want around my child, he does not even have to give me any child support, he does not want to help he just wants to see my son, he didn't think he was his but he wanted to come around every now and then, he didn't call to check on him till my son was 3 weeks old, and he really cant take care of himself so how can he take care of a child? do you think a judge would let him keep a child over night?

The fact that he is on drugs and abusive would indicate to me that no Judge would let him have overnight custody.

If he is bipolar, ADD and ADHD has no bearing on the fact as long as he takes his meds.

Hope I answered your question.

i have bipolar and also have 2 kids. i was granted full custody of my now 4 year old son even tho i do have bipolar. there is always medication to keep it under control and i must be on my medication at all times so i can provide a safe loving home for both my kids. i am also disabled and getting disability.

If the fathers name isn't on the birth certificate, and you don't want this man to see your baby, make him prove it is his. And, why did you even have sex with such a loser??? Choose the father of your children more carefully unless you want looser children too.

From what you're saying, probably not. He might allow supervised visitation. but this question should probably be in the legal section.

i doubt he could have custody or anything like that, i mean look at britney spears, she doesnt have custody over her kids, think about that for a while

and you had a child with him because......
