Anyone experience adverse affects from the drug Strattera used to treat ADHD?

Has anyone experienced marked irritability, hostility, or restlessness on this drug? Has anyone experienced increase short term memory loss on this drug? Did the side affects subside after a time on this drug or did you just go off of it?

If these are part of the adverse affects listed on the drug information then it is likely that others have experienced them.

The website Patients Like Me is dedicated to talking about side affects with people with the same symptoms as yours, and you can see what has worked for them and how their adverse affects went away or got worse on different drugs and dosages.

It is a good community for working out the right medication, which you can then discuss with your doctor.

Forgive me cause this don't really answer your question, but I took it for like 2 or 3 months & it didn't do a Damn thing, good or bad, just a waste of time, money, & effort, U got a Doc. that prescribed it that U can go back to, to try another strategy...??

Good Luck, fyi, Maybe ask/inquire about Adderall, that stuff is like a Power Pelet!!
Good Powerful Stuff.!!

Strattera is garbage, it was originally supposed to be an antidepressant but the FDA wouldn't approve it so they just decided to market it to the ADHD crowd.
Get off of that bull and onto a real amphetamine.

I'm not really a fan of ADHD drugs, personally.
I took it when I was in fourth grade and it made me feel like a robot. But that was most likely because the dosage was too high. I don't take anything for ADHD now. Good luck, though.

I would say serouis hostility for me. its like i had a personality change. i would find myself picking fights with people!

Got off it and tried Ritilin... got off that now Im on Adderall.
