ADD/ADHD problem? My girlfriend thinks so and she's a nurse.? |
I never thought i would have ADD/ADHD but my girlfirend thinks i do. She has watched me start task after task and never finish any of them. I know i usually have high goals for myself and start things with a lot of intrest but soon after starting something i completely lose intrest. I try to break everything down into manageable task but even that doesn't work. My mind can't seem to get set on 1 thing so i can figure out my problems. I will have 15-20 things i think i need to do and can't ever come to a point about something and it usually lose intrest and become very frustrated with myself. I know what i need to do but can't ever seem to figure out how. the only thing that i finish are things that keep me entertained so my intrest is peeked like a good book etc. This is a poor way to live believe me. i need a free way to be treated for an adult because i cant afford expensive bills. A free way? There is no such thing. ADHD comes down to 1 thing. Your body is sensitive to certain things and is deficient in others. my son has this I took him to a doctor to have him evaluated and now he is on a new med at half the dose and he is more focused and doing great. As for a less expansive not sure if you have medical or not but you can look in to local help or talk to you Dr. about it. Yes it sounds like ADD/ADHD. Go to your doctor and hopefully become diagnosed. Some doctors are ignorant though of this condition, so you might have to see more than one doctor. if your girlfriend is a nurse, she is probably right. the symptoms sound like ADD/ADHD I think almost all of us have it, really. If you can't afford the bills (my son is going now for ADD, and we have weekly appointments!), do research online and join a discussion group. There is so much info out there! |
