Any tips on how to deal with teems with ADHD?

I am taking care of my 13 year old nephew whom has ADAD, is there anyone out there that has any tips on creative ways to deal with his very active behavior? as well has his negitivity?

he is in counseling (which is not working very well yet, and he is on medication, which i am working with a psychiatrist on)

just sio you know it ia not just him that is in couceling it is family counceling as well.

You need to get into counseling too - not just him. The counselor can help you better learn to manage and deal with your son. Seriously. Family therapy for this works much better than just individual counseling for your son (although it is good to keep him with his individual counselor as well).

my boyfriends mum dosent no why i would want to go out with some1 with adhd seeing as my brother has it too lol.

ok so,
if he is doing somthing bad then try to block it out cuz all he wants is for you to go and tell him off and shout at him because he is probily waiting for your reaction.
or if thats not working try to get him interested in somthing els, and draw him away from the thing he is distroying.
