Is it true that Karate can have a positive affect on people with ADHD? |
I have read that children with ADHD have had tremendous results with after taking Karate. Is this also true of adults with ADHD? Studies have shown that people with ADHD should be encouraged to indulge in some from of physical exercises as they are beneficial to them. As to your question whether karate will do you good, I suppose the only way to find out is to join a dojo and attend classes on a REGULAR basis. I personally don't care much for Karate. I think it is a terrible self defense technique. Alot of different martial arts helps with ADHD because it is a sport that has alot to do with concetration. Karate could help. A lot of karate training is about concentrating. |
