What happens during a clinical evaluation for an adult that might have ADHD?

I have an appointment with a psychologist and I am being evaluated because my job sees I have a problem focusing and staying on track. I just got a promotion and don't want to lose it because of my ability to not stay focus at the task at hand. What kind clinical evaluation will I be going through?

they will just ask you ?'s about how long you can focus, do you fidget, get stressed easier, how quickly do you get offtasked. i found it is easier to bring in my mom(because she knows me best) because sometiems as ourselfs we dont pick on lil things, unlike people who are very close to us and can see how we act daily you know.. and then the docter will decide if you need a stimulant, or a non stimulant adhd medication. i am on a straterra a non stimulant medication, only because i suffer from anxiety and insomnia so if i got a stimulant my sleeping medication would not work..but alot of my friends and family have seen a drastic change in me...and i dont feel like im somebody else i feel like me, just able to focus better its great.good luck!!!
