WOMEN ONLY pregnant or ADHD meds?

I have had some pink discharge that was quite prominent for about 3-4 days last week, I also have painful breasts and very mild lower back pain and my boss's perfume made me feel ill today.

I have had a coil fitted for 4 years and never had this before, we only use the coil for contraception as we have been together for 2.5 years and are tested clean and are both faithful.

Today have seen more of the pinky discharge and am not due on for another 4-5 days, though I suppose it cold be the start of my period?

The thing is, I often think I'm pregnant due to a trauma when I was young so I feel like I'm being silly. I feel light headed but started Concerta XL for my ADHD recently, although I feel light headed now and I took it at 8.30 this morning so should be clear.

Very confused! Took pregnancy test last week but it was clear. HELP!!

I was on the same medication from the age of 17 to 23, on and off. It affected my cycles - i would often have several very long or even anovulatory cycles, that would result in some "mid-cycle" bleeding. I told my doctor about this, and he hadn't come across it before - maybe because of the low numbers of adult females on the drug.

You will of course have to wait longer until you can get a definitive answer from a pregnancy test. the drug you are on could possibly be interfering, but also might have nothing at all to do with it.

Going to a doctor is best. She/He can tell you if your pregnat, or what else is going on. It IS possible to get an STD, but unlikley if your both clean.

Hope that Helps. : ]

It's best if you go to your doctor and get a test if your this concerned...especially since you're on meds. The doctor should have more info for you. Good Luck
