Any info on ADD/ADHD ??

Hey guys. I'm pretty convinced I have ADD, I've looked up all the symptoms on the internet n such and I match quite a few of them

The only thing that confuses me is that people with ADD apparently "don't do too well in school" if it's left untreated n such. I don't do terrible in school, I mean im not a straight A student, but im not doing terrible. I don't really struggle with the school work... in school, but it is hard to pay attention, and im a huge procrastinator... anywhoo, does anyone have any further info on ADD, and how it's diagnosed? many thanks!

I know it can be aggravated by additives and preservatives in the food you eat. also, some people are allergic to the dyes used in food, which can cause some strange symptoms. some doctors think that environmental issues like mold, and chemicals in your house may aggravate it also. Some studies have shown a huge improvement in children with ADD/ADHD who went to a more natural diet, with less processed foods.
You might have a very mild case.

Why not stop playing doctor and go see one. Diagnosis and treatment are important. The specific type and severity are not something to leave to a regular GP who hasn't had experience with the disorder. Good luck.
