I have ocd, adhd, and anxiety? |
i have adhd and ocd the ocd has caused me to have a lot of anxiety i am going to a counsler and i am also on medications for my anxiety. i have had both odc and adhd my entire life but my mom doesnt like adhd medication but now its starting to really effect me to the point where i cant sleep at night without ear plugs because all the little noises destract me and i tend to be inapropriat :( i dont mean to i just am and it bugs me sometimes so now my doctor put me on medication for both i someday hope to be able to deel without the medication but for rite now i cant really deal without them. i have tried lowering the medication so that i can slowly get off but then my anxiety just gets to bad so for now i need the medication. My 15 yr old daughter is on med's for manic depression, anxiety, adhd, night terrors (from being raped) seizures, and bi-polar, when she is on her med's and takes on time like she is supposed to, everyday, they help her and i can notice a difference. Sometimes you need a little help with meds. Even though most people think its wrong, when you have a chemical imbalance, (ADHD) (OCD), you need your meds, i also take med for depression, and anxiety. If i don't take them i cant sleep, loud noises make me angry, and more anxious. I know what your going thru first hand. If it doesnt feel like your meds are working right, you and your mom need to discuss it with your doctor, see if he can try something else, and he can. every medication works different for everyone. You may also try counceling to learn some coping skills. Hang in there, and NEVER GIVE UP! dont listen to those stupid assholes. no one can spell perfect. anywho. i have ocd and anxiety myself. i have never been on meds so i really cant say. i personally am against any medication, its personally preference. the only reason pills really suck is because once you stop its like you have withdrawls and its hard to function without them. i would not take both but that is because i chose not to. You should learn to spell before you worry about any of that stuff. |
