what should i do they hurt my head and make me extremly nervous i take conserta 56 mg im 16 and make me anti social and if i dont take them im crazy the pills make me feel like i hate everything

ive been taking them for 2 years

You might need a lower dose. I noticed when I was taking a bit too much Adderall, I was clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth. I had headaches and my heart was racing. I talked to my doctor about it and scaled back to about half that level and no problems since.

Good luck.

Hi, I agree with the suggestions that you should go and see the chap who prescribed the meds to you. The thing with ADHD meds is that what works for one person may not work for another. It seems that Concerta is not for you. Try to work closely with your doc to find the best med for you.

But just in case you are fed up with meds and want to try a non-drug approach, you may want to give this a read:

Have a nice day. Don't worry too much, because I'm sure things will be sorted out nicely for you real soon.

Same thing happened with me. I began on Concerta at 18 mg and it was a revelations. For some reason, the bumped me up to 54 mg. My head ached constantly. I was confused, distracted, agitated, and antisocial. I end up facing amplified symptoms of the same problems I was trying to cure by taking Concerta. Have since backed down to 18 and I feel much better.

I fail to see who needs the 54 mg dose. Just seems like too much.

They can lower your dose or change medication. Talk to your doctor.
How long have you been taking it?
When I start to take them, I get jittery and I start to get really bad headaches for the first week or so. Then they subside.

talk to your psychiatrist
