Writing a paper for Advanced College rhetoric! need proofreaders/questions about ADD and ADHD?

I am writing a persuasive paper on ADD and ADHD for my Advanced College Rhetoric class. I would really appreciate anyone who would be willing to proofread or ask questions about ADD and ADHD so that I can make sure I have covered a wide range of topics. My focus is on psychostimulants (ritalin, adderall, etc)

I would like to here from you, especially if you have an opinion or argument for or against the use of these kinds of medications and why.

feel free to post or add me slipknotickitten@yahoo.com. I would be glad to return the favor by helping you out sometime as well. I would say that I am pretty good at editing/proofreading or explaining other subjects, but it is always good to have someone else read over your work.

Thanks a ton!

I鈥檝e lived with ADHD for 19 years now, my knowledge of the disorder is vast. I keep an open mind on the ethical issues, and what I don鈥檛 know about the medical/pharmacological side, I find out.

Here are some questions I would love to hear your perspective on.

1. Ritalin and the Psycho-Pharmaceutical Complex

2. Put the world on drugs to solve our problem.

From the 1932 Novel written by Aldous Huxley

"There's always soma to calm your anger, to reconcile you to your enemies, to make you patient and long-suffering. In the past you could only accomplish these things by making a great effort and after years of hard moral training. Now, you swallow two or three half-gramme tablets, and there you are. Anybody can be virtuous now. You can carry at least half your morality about in a bottle. Christianity without tears-that's what soma is." World Controller Mustapha Mond, Chapter 17, pg. 238

3. Early diagnosis means better prognosis? Dependency of long term users
.
4. If the numbers of children with this 鈥渕ental disorder鈥?have increased by 350% since 1990, what about in another 10 years time?

5. Treatment worse than the disease? CNS stimulants stunt growth, and there are reports of liver disease and Multiple sclerosis. People using the drug for a duration of 20 years.

I did have some more, but you may have covered them.
