Will you get discriminated against if you have adhd/add? |
I want to get tested but my parents do not reccomend I get tested because they think that people will discriminate against me and say that I am ineffective as a student/employee or etc. no...there are many actors/professionals out there who have adhd/add. My teacher has it and she proved to everyone that she can function just as well as the next. Getting tested might help you out too. Don't let them put you on meds, try natural ways to improve your attention. There are ways to do it, don't let them tell you not. But at least you'll know if you have it or not. And they can help you with ways around it. Since you know...they're trained and went to school to do the testing. My friend is going to school for it and she is an awesome person. I hope you find an awesome person to test you for it because they are understanding. You should not be concerned with other peoples take on you.What you need to focus on is do you have it or not and getting tested.There is nothing wrong if you do have adhd whats the big deal?If you do find ways to manage it.If someone does discriminate they are the ignorant ones but,I don't think anyone will though. |
