Does anyone know a good non-prescription sleep aid?

I have tried natural supplements like melatonin that don't work. Any ideas?

try passion flower or valerian. both are mild seditives. you can make a sachet of hops and put it in your pillow, it helps
Michelob Light always works for me
phenergan tablets 25mg they work a treat
nurse
sleepy time tea
working out can also help you sleep at night
What actually keeps one awake, and your not gonna find this in any book is, "What really keeps the average person from falling asleep is when you become aware of all the muscle movements in your face. These are the muscles closet to the brain. Once you learn to relax all the muscles in your face, you'll go to sleep faster". Also, it has to do with eliminating those negative thoughts that puts pressure on the brain. Maybe a good though like having sensual dream's might do the trick or something pleasant like a vacation you once had or something good that happen that day, stuff like that. Practice makes perfect. It takes some practice and some good positive brain wasking before you accomplish this before it becomes a natural thing so you can go to sleep. Give it a try, it really does work... Dr Checko...
