If you've EVER tried "Olive Leaf" for antibacterial/antiviral--to help aid your illness?did it help?

In other words, if you had a horrible cold, and/or infection somewhere in your body, right before you went to your doctor, did you try taking Olive Leaf pills for your health?
I mean, they've been around forever [I've read], so it must help atleast a little right?
Well what is your experience w/OL?
thanx :-D

Olive leaf extract, like grape seed extract and oil of oregano, among others, is a great anti-microbial agent. In other words, it does act to kill bacteria, viruses, fungus, and some parasites. The drawback to using these is that they don't work as "fast" as antibiotics. Their success also depends on the quality of product, your lifestyle, and frankly, how many you take at one time.
If you would rather take something natural and not add to antibiotic resistant strains of infection, these natural supplements are great! You just have to reinforce it with good nutrition, rest, water and good clean living (at least for a few days).

If you have to take a pill, why not make it something natural?!

Antibiotics do not work on viral infection.. Doctors don't seem to know this because they push it on every one for every thing.
Olive leaf Extract is an exalent natural antibiotic. Colidal silver is also good for many afflictions. Other answers here are good as well.
Only vitamin C 3000mgs. and 300mgs of vit E will shorten a cold.

Yes, I have tried it, and it's an excellent immune builder. I prefer the liquid form. Even though I mix it with some purified water, you can also apply the extract directly to an area, like a cold sore.

Yes Olive leaf was one of the things I used to get my Epstein Barr virus under control. I had tried everything for about 5 years and this is what really made a difference.
