Does anyone know what it takes to be a special education teachers aid in the state of Oklahoma?

Just call your local school administration office and they can tell you. In Texas you have to have 2 years of college OR a high school diploma and be able to pass a test for the position. Experience working with children (any children) as a Sunday school teacher, a scout leader, a day care worker or volunteering at a school is an asset.

A high school diploma and a clean criminal record is all it takes.
