Can you believe this? Why is Bush & Co sending $550 BILLION in supposed aid to Africa & other nations...?

...when we're already suffering runaway inflation from out-of-control spending and artificially inflated gas prices? And weren't we just yesterday still paying farmers NOT to grow certain crops because there's so much? What happened to our surplus stores of crops? Why isn't this being used to counter the so-called food shortage and bring prices back down? Do you think that starving people in Africa will see a penny of our $550 billion, or will they be left to starve to death as usual?

I don't think there is anything wrong with giving to other countries when you can afford to. However, the US is basically on its knees financially. What more has to happen for people to stop the dem and rep fight and wake up to what is going on? We are so far in debt and if you don't believe that then check out this website.
