Why do people in the usa feel they need to send aid to poorer countries?

we send money food supplies when people in this country there are people dieing trying to make it

Because we are the wealthiest (monetarily speaking) nation in the world, and because as compassionate, decent people, we have a moral obligation to extend our hand to those in need at times.

That said, the USA is very charitable to its own people. Many people that are struggling as you describe are doing so by way of their own action or inaction. Not all, but the majority. The USA is an equal opportunity nation.

its logic.
if usa does not send aid to other countires how can u make a trade when usa needs resources from other countires, for example PETROLEUM=GASOLINE and other things made from this natural resource which usa does not have.

Because the people in the poorer countries ask for help, and the U.S. is very prosperous and wants to give back what it can.

because we feel unbelievable blessed
and to whom much is givin, much is expected.
although i do think that we should help out the people closer to home first.

because america is obsessed with ''saving'' the world.

Because that's were their off-shore banks accounts are.

Great question. We have enough problems here in the USA. Why send our hard earned money over seas?
