The aids virus affects which type of cells specfically?

HIV can enter most cells that have a CD4+ receptor. Obviously the CD4+ cell (which has many CD4+ receptors) is the main target, but HIV can infect other cells with the CD4+ receptor (eg. regulatory T-cells, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells). All of these play a role (some larger, some miniscule) in the process of HIV infection. We are still learning more about HIV and the Immune system as the years progress...

your white blood cells and your immune system

B CELLS somethin like dat google it

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but the AIDS virus affects the T cells.

Actually Hiv attacks the T-cell which if not is controlled or slowed down, can turn into AIDS. So this is a Virus which
attacks the Immune System. And our Immune System is very important to the body, if it fails so does the body.

T cells not B cells

CD4+ cells

they are a type of T cell, which are a type of white blood cells, which are part of the immune system

White Blood Cells.

WBC's, T-cells to be exact. These are the cells that identify and "tag" a harmful organism for removal by other immune cells.

white blood cells

white blood cells becasue they are most important in defending the body from infections. without wbc, then you're vulnerable as a mouse about to be eaten by a cat. when you have no wbc, theres no protection,so ur body is free from protection.

white blood cells cause they sort of like attach them or distract them while other diseases enter he body

the t-cells, thats why with the modern medicine, they try to get the t-cell count up to fight infections, if its to low, you could catch something and die

T- cells

it basically attacks ur white blood cells , and stops ur immune system from producing new ones , than u run out of then and boom u r out

T-Cells. theyre a part of the immune system.

White blood cells. Specifically it affects the helper T cells (specifically CD4+ T cells), macrophages and dendritic cells

Leukocytes

wbc's, also known as your white blood cells, they give your body the ability to heal, and when they can't do their job due to AIDS, it slowly kills you.

they gay cells
