Should a chef be sacked if they have AIDS in WA Australia?

Should a chef be sacked if they have AIDS in WA Australia?

There are absolutely no health reasons as to why a chef who is HIV positive should not be allowed to work in the kitchen. The chef knows his condition and would take precautions. Should he accidentally cut himself, he would simply dispose of the food he was working with, sanitize the area, and remove himself from the kitchen to be properly bandaged. ANY chef who cuts himself would do this same thing.
Of course, if the meal is really good and you want to tip the chef, I would advise against offering him unprotected sex.

Note to Deliver_Ance: Not only is HIV/AIDS not just grounds for terminating employment, but many countries even make it unlawful to fire someone on that basis. Unless the chef has open sores or wounds, there is simply no health hazard at all, and health regulations already prohibit any food preparation employee from working with open sores or wounds regardless of their HIV status.

NATURALLY THE CHEF SHOULD BE SACKED FOR acquiring AIDS virus which is considered to be a deadly/communicable disease, not only in WA AUSTRALIA this is implemented but throughout the whole world.

IMAGINE ACQUIRING A HEPA-B OR A is tantamount to dismissal from the company what more if one have AIDS virus.

AND YOU STILL ASKING US IF ONE CHEF SHOULD BE SACKED IF have AIDS which is a full blown virus. Why you still ASKED this question, you never read one employment contract yet where any of said diseases is definitely included and could be reason for the company to terminate his employment?

Wow what is this, a time warp question from 1983?

Unless the customers are having unsafe bodily fluid exchanges with the chef in the kitchen or dining room, who cares?

Not if they use Universal Precautions. It would be discrimination
