I'm pretty sure I'm going to be deaf when I'm older, I'm curious how hearing aids are now a days?

Can you get ones that are really tiny and hidden deep in the ear? Or do they still give you those big clunky ones that attach to the outside of your ear like a snail shell?

Please don't assume that you will be deaf,live your life now.

For your information we do have tiny hearing aid that goes deep in the external ear canal and it's not visible.They are called CIC (Completely In the Canal).

Other types are ITC (Inside The Canal) where a very small part is visible, BTE (Behind The Ear) type which is behind the pinna, can be hidden in the hairs and it is same one you call as snail shell.
One more type is also available pocket type which is like a pager, and connection goes to ear.

the bigger aids are for more hearing losses or when dexterity/vision is a problem. newer aids are much more discreet and SOUND BETTER than ever before!

They make a wide range of hearing aids. And the ones that are on the outside of the ear work the best. They do come in different colors and sizes so you can still be fashionable.

Yeah, you can get the little ones now, my aunt is also hard of hearing and she has some like that. You can't even see them. I don't know, they might be more expensive though.
