Can people with aids enlist in the military?

im enlisting in the navy so tell me now before decide to soil myself with some random girl.

No, there is too much of a risk of the disease being spread to others.

No..while AIDS is no longer the "garunteed death sentence" it was back in the late 80's it is still a serious health condition that requires close medical monitering and treatment and, if not known to others, puts others at risk. This would be an even higher risk if deployed and you were injured during combat, Also, since the disease attacks the immune system, exsposure to viruses poses a higher risk, as do some of the vaccines used to protect against them. So if you are thinking about unprotected sex...don't...and don't use a condom just because you want to join the military..use it because it can save you from a whole lot of things (unwanted pregnancy, assorted STD's) as well as AIDS

First time enlisting no you can't join, because it can be transferred if you bleed on somebody or almost impossible sweat on somebody. Re-enlisting while in service you can get away if you haven't been blood tested for it, but if you get out then re-enlist they will require you to give blood so your disqualified.

No, a person who is HIV positive cannot join the military. If a person is already in the military and becomes HIV positive, then that servicemember is barred from re-enlisting. They may serve out the remainder of their enlistment, but have to get out when it is over. They are also under direct orders to inform any sexual partners or anyone in contact with their body fluids that they are HIV postive. They are also not deployable.

100000% NO.

and dont try to fool them, they test you at MEPS, and going to MEPS to get tested for it when you know you already have it only puts the doctors and other recruits at risk, so please for their saftey do not. MEPS will find out either way. dont try to get around it. you will actually be tried under UCMJ for fraudual enlistment which carries a $10,000 fine and up to 2 yrs in federal prision

No

I dunno srry. But I think not.. too much of a risk
