Ending food/aid shipments will help prosper countries?

OK, you heard it all enough. Pirates hijacked this, pirates kept hijacking that, even firing at NAVY ships, and other unarmed ships. Look, it is time to realize that the so called "Aid supplies" shipments is more like a business today than a simply aid to help poor people. I do not speak for the pirates, but I speak to you from experience living in that conditions. It is all business, the same way UPS and others work, they rely on people to starve and struggle so they can be hired to deliver aid and supplies. Books, articles were already written about ending food aid to Africa and the poor. The bottom line is, when you deliver food all the time than you're expected to deliver food all the time. It doesn't solve poverty or feed any starving child for the long term. It is simply a temporary relief.

So, why can't the people that ship the food also have other ideas, ideas such as HELP the countries, help them build institutions, pressure their governments to act right, and work with them to prevent the crises to start with. Or, will this make shipping fleet ships go out of business?

It is time, it is time to end FOOD AID TO AFRICA, and if you really care about helping them, help them help themselves, by doing exactly just that. Not with food, that will also be needed tomorrow from you.

Delivering food is the surest way to guarantee that food will NOT be produced locally . . . . why bother?

The problem is . . . a handful of guys with AK-47's will show up and TAKE what people produce . . .

Until Africa decides it will KILL the local thugs .. . there will not be a solution.

It is an African problem . . . and Africans need to solve it . . .

The pirates are a valuable lesson to everyone saying Americans should have to give up our guns . . . look what happens to the UNarmed ships . . . they get ATTACKED . . .

Ending their bans against capitalism will help.
Businesses do better serving prosperous customers. That should have been obvious to you. Keeping these people poor serves only left-wing governments, which cannot hold power in the face of prosperity.
The people that ship the food are in the shipping business, not the "overthrowing oppressive leftists" business.
