Should we just stop trying to send humanatarian aid to the horn of Africa, until the pirates are gone?

Humanitarian aid should be done by charity organizations, not by the government. The federal government has no constitutional duty to send aid to Israel, Africa, Georgia(country), or even to nations like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the etc. This way... we get to save our tax dollars on things that are more beneficial for the American people, like fixing our roads, creating more business, saving up for capital, or lowering our national debt.

Send it by submarines or have submarine escorts.

Start stationing a few subs out there so a faster responce could be made and that might make a big difference. Those pirates would never know where they were. When a few of the pirates little attack boat were blown out of the water second thoughts would be given.

Humanitarian aid should be stopped as it is. It has done no good there. Countries within Africa do not care about their own people, and that aid is usually not distributed and sold for their own profit.

We should stop supporting dictators that give US companies easy access to African oil reserves. That should stop the pirates from needing to resort to piracy...

Sure then maybe the people of the African horn will try stopping the piracy for us. Nice idea.
