Yes of course because you are transmitting bodily fluids, aids travels to person to person this way. Use protection. And even if you dont swallow, semen is still going to be absorbed in your mouth, especially if you have open cuts/sores x

never have oral sex if you or a partner have a cut lip/open sore/cold sore. because can get give your partner herpes from a cold sore.

you should read up on sex health before you decide to be sexually active be sure to get tested

1. cold sore is out side the lip (herpes of the lip) contagious
2. canker sore, fever blister is inside your mouth which is non contagious
