Would you marry somebody with HIV/aids if you loved them?

To be honest that is a hard one. If we were already together and thy found out afterward I would go get checked of course, and I would try to figure out when they contracted HIV. If they cheated on me then I wouldn't stay with them. I dump anyone that cheats on me. If they got it before we met and I loved them then I would still be with them.

If I met them and they told me they had HIV I would say no to love relationship, but not friendship. Sex is a big part of any relationship I have and without sex we are just friends.

I would do anything to spend the rest of my life with somoene if I loved them and they loved me back. There are many ways to treat the infection and keep that person healthy and alive for a very long time and there are just as many ways to protect yourself. Love is a gift and should never be tossed to the side.

I would without a doubt. It says a lot about a person who will stay in a relationship when faced with such a huge thing as HIV.

That being said, I am a happily married HIV+ woman. my husband and I were married last February and when we got back from our honeymoon we found out I was pregnant. The end of april last year we found out I was HIV+. I spent months pushing my husband away, certain he would leave me anyways. He then said something to me that made all the difference in the world to me. He told me that even if we found out before he proposed to me (two years prior to our wedding) he still would have married me. That statement has been the one thing that I have held onto to get me through this past year. This past year has shown me what kind of man he is and has proven to me that he will stay no matter what.

Wow. That's tough. I'm a hypochondriac so that would be a huge mental thing for me. I don't think I would put myself or them through my incessant worrying and paranoia. They'd be better off with someone who could deal with that. I just can't. Plus, I don't think I could watch them as the disease progressed. Too much for my heart.

if i've been with my boy who have hiv, i would love him to the death. even if he did pass away, no other guy would love me like him. he will be in my heart. it's just like love a man with one arm or leg or just came out in the military.

Tough call for me. I'm a disease/ STD freak. I don't think I could handle it. Plus, you know this person is going to die because of a shot immune system.

I would, if I loved them. I would be someone's friend nonetheless, even if they had HIV/AIDS.

i would not care if they did or they didnt. Because if theyre perfect for you you should stay with them regardless of conditions.

If I was with them pre-AIDS then possibly. If I met someone and while we were dating found out they had AIDS then no.

Yes. True love, happiness and compatibility are Hard to find. If you have truely found it then go for it.
