When Zuma becomes president of South Africa will he combat aids by making showers available for all?

Considering his (alleged) record maybe he'll promote forcing oneself on any available virgin. A well know cure for the aids.

They're trying to promote circumcision as HIV prevention in Africa.

Even the government of Israel has gotten involved in trying to circumcise African men, ostensibly to prevent HIV (Gee, do you think that the government of Israel might be biased?)

Circumcision does not prevent HIV, as proven by the situation in the USA, where the majority of men were circumcised, and yet the USA had a much higher rate HIV, invariably much higher than the countries in Europe, Scandinavia, South America, and Asia where circumcision is rarely perpetrated on males. In Pakistan alone, where about 90% of males are circumcised, the HIV rate is 400% greater than that of neighboring India, where the vast majority of males are not circumcised.

And showers certainly won't have any effect on HIV, either.

African men are being needlessly mutilated by circumcision, which has no benefit whatsoever, because of a religious group trying to impose it on them, using lies to promote their agenda.

Such cultural incursion should be illegal.

Mr Mcbride, I'm sure the education program relating to HIV/AIDS was similar in the UK as it was in Australia. This you would be well aware of given your term in public service. For you to propagate someone else's ignorance borders on at least gross irresponsibility, if not more. Education, safe sex practices and at a base level, condoms. You know better, and should behave so.

Surely he meant salt water showers as salt water is a form of antiseptic. This is the man who is going to lead South Africa remember.
