Is is true that abstaining from eating after 7 PM will aid in weight loss? Why? its not true - its been scintifically proved that it doesnt matter what time of the day you eat - as long as you dont consume more calories than spend during the day you are not gona gain weight. its all about calories in vs calories out. only old school nutritionist/dietitians/doctor... would tell you not eat past certain time. you just shouldnt eat at least an hour before going to bed. It's a metabolism issue. After 7 pm, generally, you are less active, so the calories do not burn but get stored as carbs for reserve use later. my line of work I believe that you are just supposed to abstain from eating 2-3 hours before bedtime. And don't be alarmed if I star all your weight loss questions, I am in the same boat as you. people say that because you are less likely to get any exercise in after 7, so you won't burn it off. but, if you exercise after 7, then that would not be true :) 3pm would be better, your metabolisim. Fodd actually is digested to a certain degree by rotting in your intestines and being absorbed into your body. not really. just don't eat heavy portions. if your hungry try just drinking more water- usually when we're hungry we're really acutally thirsty |
