Why does the U.S. give aid to Palestinians who support terrorism? |
Hamas is listed by the U.S. as a terrorist organization. Palestinians voted for Hamas to lead them. The United States spends millions of dollars a year supporting Palestinians (via our funding of UNRWA) to the tune of about $300 million dollars...yet Palestinians hate us. See http://pewresearch.org/ for surveys on attitueds toward America Because the US foreign policy is hipocritical to it's core. Why does the US give aid to Israel, that uses state terrorism against the native population every day? Giving aid and funding are too totally different subjects. We give aid to Africa, that doesnt mean we fund there Civil Wars. Aid is civillian bases; food, supplies, ect.. While funding is what we do w/ Israel. Perhaps because not all Palestinians are terrorists or members of Hamas? Most Palestinians are just trying to live life and have what we all want - independence, freedom from oppression and a place to call our own. Great Question. I am all for Israel invading Palestine. |
