Why do some some christians carry on about "most third world aid coming from christians" .........? |
...........when Bill Gates, an atheist, is using 30 billion dollars to help third world countries? And since when was the UN a christian organisation? Aren't they doing more than any other single organisation to help the third world? i dunno .. unless a person is actively communicating with common individuals in third world countries very little aid actually reaches families imo ... i see christians tithe. i dont see christians give money/food to homeless. i find it ironic. its always amusing to see the pastors driving around in 60+ thousand dollar cars, when they could have easily gotten a 20,000 dollar car and given the difference to the needy... *shrug* Didn't know Christians ever claimed that - I know they do very valid work under the Christian banner for Christians and non-Christians alike. Why are people always trying to penn such a varied group of believers into one box, especially when the box is so very very small? THAT'S why a crashing Windows box won't respond to prayer! It's because of Sally Struthers and the "Christian children's fund" commercials. Most xians will believe anything a fat white celebrity says if they throw in a few well placed "christian" words between asking for money. Sorry, but think about any church service you've ever been in. LOL What does it matter WHO is doing it? As long as it's GETTING DONE!? Why is everything always about "me,me,me,me,me,me..." When will people just get over themselves? They like to put themselves in place of every good and noble cause in the world, put then they whine about it ever after . . . someone should throw them some cheese. |
