My cousin just caught AIDS from a guy she was messin with for 5 years, What should i tell her to comfort her?

Don't tell her anything ,just be there for her when she needs you.Let her know she can call you anytime when she needs you.

Help her learn how to take care of herself. There is a lot to learn about supplementing with proteins and other nutrients and herbs to keep well when you have HIV.
Tell her you just saved a bunch of money on your car insurance by switching to Geico.
At this point is it Aids or HIV? If she takes her medications that the doctors give her and keeps herself healthy she can stave off actual AIDS. Magic Johnson has had HIV for close to 20 years. Exercise along with a proper diet and medications can immensly increase her chances of survival.
just wait til she comes to you. and don't act different towarsd her. show her some love and affection
Just let her know that you are there. Involve her in your activies, and treat her as a regular friend. Don't go out of your way too far, as she'll feel guilty about it. Just be there as needed. Do not smother her. Everyone else will do that for you.

As her needs increase, it is harder, so then you'll have to step up your commitment. She may need help getting to treatment, shopping, etc. Eventually, she may need even more help.

Stay positive. Don't treat her as "aids", treat her as your cousin.
Always support her! She's going to go through a whole range of emotions...probably anger, denial, fear..all that. She'll need an anchor beside her that will always be there. Let her know that if she wants to talk you're there, if she doesn't want to talk about...you're there too. Good Luck and God Bless.
