Should the two former women White House aids testify?

Bush and Cheney keep telling these women to claim executive priviledge. It sounds like they are hiding something from the American people. If they are not guilty of wrong-doing then let these ladies testify and tell the truth about what they know. If the two ladies do testify they will most certainly have to put up with the government trying to make their life's miserable from here on out, or at least until Bush leaves office. What are your thoughts on the ladies testifying and what will happen to them if they do? Do you think Bush-Cheney are guilty of wrong-doing?

I can't think of any reason to stop them from testifying except to cover up misdeeds in the White House. Fortunately, there is too much publicity now for them to do the kind of hack job they did on Valerie Plame and her husband. Yes, I think the investigation will eventually reveal that both Bush and Cheney knowingly broke the law. There seems little doubt of it any longer.

The current executive privilige issues revolves around a requirement to submit documents to the National Archives. In this process, the documents are reviewed. Their stance, which I agree with, is that they will not be ordered to turn over their documents by a subordinate employee. There is a time and place to submit these to the Archive. They plan on following these rules.
I understand how this crap works and Bush and Cheney are protecting these aids. They should give their name rank and serial number and tell them nothing.
First, if the democrats were really after information they would have no problem with closed door talks which have been offered. They are out to make a specticle and to try to catch someone with a faulty memory so they can scream foul. Bill Clinton fired all 93 US Attorneys Bush got a handful after reviewing everyone's records and most had been accused of refusing to look into campaign/voter fraud among other issues. If a US Attorney will overlook voter and election fraud just because the benificiary was a member of their party, that is grounds for removal to me. Besides that, even if Bush had no "reason" he still has the right to remove them at will (each had served their 4 yr appointments) so there is no wrong to be done. Just because you dont like something it doesnt make it wrong.
Yes, unless they want to be charged with contempt of Congress.
