Can aids be transmitted by saliva?(Like when you kiss someone)?

Can aids be transmitted by saliva?(Like when you kiss someone)?

For starters you would get HIV not aids. Aids is when your immune system is really low. Aids is not a disease aids could be flu, viral infection or chest infection. It is the HIV which wears down your immune system putting you at risk from common illnesses which will kill you. In answer to your question you would have to drink 2 buckets of saliva to even start to be at any risk. If you or the person you are kissing has any open wounds and blood is passed between them it is possible to catch HIV but the risk is small. If you need anymore advice please dont hesitate to mail me. Source(s): Personal experience
Yes. It can be transmitted through any bodily fluids. It's a definite yes if you have an open sore in your mouth.
NO
Not unless you have blood to blood contact, ie, the person you are kissing has an open sore in their mouth, and you do as well. It takes gallons of saliva to pass the disease on - in fact, I'm not sure it is possible. Certainly not through kissing anyway.
Only if you have open sores or cuts in your mouth
If there is an open sore in your mouth then yes, HIV could be passed

Im sure princess diana didnt cram her tongue down any of those aids childrens throats. and were talking about a virus so why would you need gallons of it in your mouth before it could be contracted? you dont need gallons of any other virusto get sick.
