I recently received a letter from "Edifi" college financial aid services. Is it a scam?

The letter from Edifi stated that they would hold a 90 minute interview at no cost and provide information about scholarship programs and tests. Is "Edifi" a scam or is it the real deal?

I would guess they are, especially if they are proposing to help you gain scholarship and grant information. These "services" or "consultants" charge for information that is available free of charge at any college or university. I would suggest that you make an appointment with your local college's financial aid office and ask all the questions you might have about financial aid and scholarship eligibility requirements. They should be able to give you general information as well as specific information abour the college's scholarships.

Contact the Better Business Bureau about Edifi.
I found this may want to take a look at it
