Is Rite-Aid stock a good investment? |
A friend of mine recently told me that this company is a good investment because its' stock is so under-valued and will grow significantly over the next few years. I have my doubts. Any friendly advice would be appreciated. RAD is good for long term. It should come up in the future, don't know how long it will take, maybe a year. Rad, cvs and Walgreens are big drug store chains. CVS and WAG stocks are a lot higher than RAD. Rad had problems in the past, but the analysts say rad will do better in the future. i love rite aid they have like everything there its better than wal mart =P it is becoming THE place to buy cheap booze you need to know how much it worth before it can be considered as under-valued. this can be done by calculating its intrinsic value first. Simple Formula to Calculate Intrinsic Value http://www.stock-investment-made-easy.co... Good Stock Pick http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... I BOUGHT RITE AID RIGHT AFTER IT TANK,THE CEO WAS STEALING,CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT, I PAID $4.75 A SHARE,KEEP IT FOR THREE YEARS SOLD IT FOR $5.40 A SHARE,NOT MUCH FOR THREE YEARS.HERE'S WHAT ITS DOING NOW, Day's Range: 5.86 - 5.98 52wk Range: 4.32 - 6.74 SO ITS GONE UP $0.50 IN THREE YEARS,YOU CAN FIGURE THIS OUT. they are being crushed by walgreens and longs... If you hold it for long term it might be taken over by another drug store chain, but on its own, I think there is too much competition and not a real bargain at these prices. Not saying it won't go up a bit, but could probably make more money in another stock. |
