First aid when a person is bitten by a dog?

First aid when a person is bitten by a dog?

The usual hot soapy water wash out, antiseptic and then a trip to the doc for Tetanus jab. If it was your dog that did the biting then your next trip is to the pet shop for a cage muzzle - don't let it happen again.
A dogs teeth carries a lot of bacteria - best to go to the Doctor and have them clean it and dress it properly, trust me, from experience, a dog bite can get infected very easily.
Siberian Husky Breeder
Just treat it like any other cut...clean it up, put some ointment on, then wrap it in a bandage. Though, if the cut is so deep you need stitches or the dog was rapid you will want so see a doctor for medical care.
Pour hydrogen peroxide one it and put a band aid on the wound.
Dpending on how deep the bite is, wash with hot soap and water, apply anitbacterial ointment, (keep this handy in your medicine cabinet. and cover it with a good bandage.
if it is a really nasty bite, go to ER asap.
