Why do gay people get AIDS more than straight people?

actually african american women has the highest of aids and hiv cases as well as latino. in the african american community you have a lot of what they call down low brothers. Men who have girlfriends and wives but are living double lives actually having sexual contact with other men and that was causing the hiv and aids epidemic in african american communites. It is just not a gay disease anymore.

I don't know that they do but if it is the case it's probably because they tend to have unprotected sex with many different partners. The majority of straight people have less partners.
My husband is a dietitian for HIV/Aids clinics and he tells me that gay people are usually more promiscuous and open to new things and I guess, new people. Also, they tend to use drugs to cope with feeling different than everyone or because they have the disease at all and end up sharing needles. Gay men are more susceptible to contracting HIV because there is a lot more chance of "damage" during anal sex and when there is blood involved, you are more likely pass on the disease also. I know it sounds gross, but it's true.
they don't society puts that IN peoples heads to still try and condemn gay people actually in Chicago the highest number of aids cases are among African American woman aids is spread easier from a man to a woman or man to a man so the numbers are high but straight people have more aids in their community than gays
That is absolutely not true. When AIDS first became known it was known as GRID (gay related immune deficiency) or the "gay cancer" but times have changed. Right now of all the cases 50% of them are women. Its not a gay disease, it can happen to anyone, it doesnt have a face nor an age.
