With half the U.K being flooded, where is our foreign aid?


Families homeless, without fresh water, rivers flooding, mass down pours. This is almost a serious problem, so where are our friendly neighbours with their offers of aid?

Apparently,before Britain can get any help from the EU,Britain has to assess the total cost of damage,then submit it to the EU....aid does not come into it.I have not heard any of the neighbouring country's even ask/offer any help whatsoever. As the forth richest country in the world,one has to ask, should we have to ask others for "aid"? Our own people are suffering trauma,why does our Government not act as quickly as it would if it were another country? Do they need to think about it? Its disgraceful...
There is a European fund for disasters in Europe, The uk has not yet applied for aid.
I HEARD THE RUSSIANS WHERE PLANNING A CONCERT FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE FLOOD.

THE UK HAS NO NEIGHBORS YOU GUYS ARE ON AN ISLAND.
Tony is no longer there so out of sight and cannot use them so throw them away.
In the paper today it said France got EU money after their flood, Lets see what we get.
I guess they are the same place the UK was when their country was flooding. ;)
Times like this you know where your friends are..thats our government for you, they are happy to give help to other countries but no-one seems to want to help us
