You can try to get free money by applying for grants and scholarships. Here are some good sites to try:

http://www.freegovmoney.net/

Go to www.fastweb.com. There you can find out about independent scholarships that are available. The more you apply for, the better your chances of getting one will be. You can also get scholarships or grants from the colleges themselves. Check out their websites to see what is offered, requirements, application deadlines, etc. Good luck!

P.S. You should still fill out the FAFSA, in case you haven't.
