Kool-Aid On Keyboard?

My son was messing around on the computer last night and he accidentally spilled his kool aid on the keyboard (even though I had told him many times not to have food or drink around the computer)...I managed to get most of the mess cleaned up, but now some of the keys are sticking when I type...What can I do to fix this problem?

Use a flat-headed screwdriver to pop off the keys (they just snap off, at least on the Dell and HP/Compaq machines I've messed with). (Be careful with the wide keys like the spacebar and Shift, as they have wire thingies underneath so they go straight down rather than tilting when you press them.)

Then clean off the keys with water and let them dry.

Underneath the keys, the keyboard is like a basin with a bunch of little connectors covering the microswitches. (The keys over these connectors are good at keeping the kool-aid out, but with the keys off you should be careful not to get water in.) Use a wet Q-tip or something to swab the Kool-Aid out. When it's all dry, snap the keys back in.

(I did this last month when a co-worked spilled Pepsi in her keyboard. I had another keyboard nearby so I knew what key to put where when I reassembled it -- if you don't, take notes before you take it apart. And of course, disconnect the keyboard from the computer before taking it apart.)
This might help. Pop out all thekeys or one @ a time. Clean them with a damp cloth. then clean under the keys. It might work
Knowledge of the same problem before
Not alot im afraid....you can take a butter knife and pop off the keys and be able to clean alittle better but it still will stick...

its not lost though. but for the momment it is...it needs time for the kiool-aid to totally dry to the point where it doesnt stick....the key contacts in the keyboard are sealed so theres no koolaid actually on the contacts but around the button stem
use another for the momment and try using a blowdryer to help dry up the koolaid , it may take time but it should work fine after that. I probably could make a hole gallon of koolaid and beer from whats in mine and it;s still working..my numlock was stuck for about a month till it dried out and i was able to unstick it.
you need to teke out the keys that stick because of the coolaid...and use a damp pare towel.. if that doesnt work ...try a cleaner or something.. good luck
Is your keyboard have alot of electrical..you can always take it apart and dunk it in the tub and wash it..let it fuly dry tho. I had to do that with this new logitech one I got, it has electronic (lights) but it works like brand new after cleaning it in the tub. Just be careful, popping out every key will get lame after a few and more of a risk breaking thing, just take it apart and go that way..alot easier.
I detach the keyboard from the system and run it under the sink. I let it dry until the spare keyboard gets dumped on (usually a week or so) then put it back and wash the ruined one. I have a 16 year old with special needs, a 13 year old who sometimes acts like he has special needs and about 70 users at work who don't follow policy. Keyboards are cheap. Or ask for one at work.
