Cna dogs get hiv or aids? |
i know its a stupid question but humans can get it so y cant animals? i mean they test our shampoo and allthat good stuff on animals b4 they say its safe for us to use so...... No, dogs and cats can NOT get HIV/AIDS. Cats have an immunodeficiency virus called FIV, but it is only contagious to other cats, not people. Source(s): CVT, 20 yrs. exper. Yes Dogs and cats can get HIV, however it cannot be transmitted to humans from a pet. I'm pretty sure that any kind of animal can get hives and AIDS. There's a shot cats can take for it, but i'm not so sure about dogs - maybe consult your vet. Dogs and cats have a disease that is like HIV/aids, but it is not the same as what people and other primates have. no i dont think so i have never heard of that |
