What are the preparations before you have AIDS (blood) test? I'm planning to have one for personal checkup. None, you simply go along and have some blood taken. I had one before i started trying for a family, Although i was 99.9% sure i was clear it was the longest wait of my life! Well worth it though to be 100% sure xnone... duh... you just have to give blood for test... well... if you faint at the sight of blood... Take a shower. You should at least be clean when you go to the doctor. Other than that. Nothing. well it all depends on you. you have to be ready physically and emotionally. if you are going to a VCT centre then you will be councelled before your test, this will prepare you to accept your status, after the test, depending on results the you will be counselled and advised accordingly. now days even regular clinics and hospital offer counselling for individuals testing for HIV/AIDS Preparations " H " an " K-Y " No prep, just blood. |
