Has anyone filed for Financial Aid? |
i was given a website www.fafsa.ed.gov but accidentally went to www.fafsa.com and filled out all the information submit, then realized i was at the wrong place what do i go is this a trustworthy site?!!!!! should i be concerned with identity theft? Ya, thats okay, it's a reliable company. Check this site for all the information about it: http://www.sacramento.bbb.org/commonrepo... But if you can erase your info from their server by logging into your account, then you should do it. If you can't wait for their reply and see if they look professional and experts, if not, ask your lawyer what you should do about that. And you better ask him any way. you should be fine,if that site even attempted to steal your identity or other stuff the fbi would be breathing down their neck because of the similarity of it to the real site, because it is a government ran site Actually, I'd be a little worried, because that is an entirely different domain and despite what the previous poster said, it's perfectly legal to have that domain. If I were you, I'd investigate who and what they are. Don't believe me. Check out the difference between: http://www.whitehouse.gov http://www.whitehouse.com (which for many years was a porno site, now it's a general info site) |
