Aid to oil rich Saudi Arabia? |

Keep it short. Sorry if the answer is a little too long. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!... What the heck are they thinking! Saudi Arabia has been the biggest financer of terrorism so far, much more so than Iran. Just look at the 9/11/01 hijackers, most of them were from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also has the most foreign prescence in Iraq right now. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070716/wl_... Just look at the group Al Qaeda and who finances them, it's many sunni Saudi billionaires. This is a horrible idea, arm your enemies with some of the latest technology. The only reason we are doing this, is, in my opinion, to help Israel which we are giving 30 Billion dollars in weapons to over the next 10 years, whereas we are giving Saudi Arabia only 20 Billion dollars in weapons. The Bush administration fears Iran, because unlike Saudi Arabia's terrorists, Iran's terrorists are actually doing well visibly. Also, Saudi Arabia is the #1 supplier of oil and holds about 20% of all the world's oil which means they are untouchable at the moment. Iran has funded Hezbollah which seems to be one of the most effective terrorist groups, Hamas in Palestine, and even the Taliban and the Afghanistan government. Iran also will, in my opinion with 99% certainty, get nuclear weapons in the future. The present administration thinks that by arming Saudi Arabia and other allies, they will curb Iran's threat to the region. In reality, arming Iran's enemies will only make Iran want nuclear weapons and nuclear power that much more. Helping impoverished people in our country. Improving public schools in poor areas. Making sure everyone could get proper health care. protect interests build some oil refineries....oh yeah, exxon won't stand for that Stupid to think that Saudi Arabia is our ally. I would use the money sealing our boarder tight as a drum and on Defense Intelligence. i think it is ridiculous....just like i think tax breaks for the oil companies are ludicrous..... i would use the money to create alternative energy sources....so we no longer need oil from foriegn countries....... I want to stop paying my federal!! |
