Why do gay activists obscure the fact that 67% of new aids cases in the US are gay or bisexual males? |
look it up yourself, this is the CDC's website....http://www.avert.org/statsum.htm... because it would be an embarrassment to them as they are trying to steer attention away from the fact that , while aids is not Exclusively a gay disease it IS largely and in majority a gay disease. I looked at the CDC stats you linked to and sure enough ... 59% is men who have sex with men and another 8% is men who have sex with men and also use intravenous drugs. It could be further posited that the sharing of needles with other ( female) drug addicts could explain a lot of the spread to the heterosexual community as many female drug addicts support their habit through prostitution spreading the vector to the heterosexual community at large. Thank you for providing such digestible food for thought. ( I thought the gay activists numbers were suspiciously low... they often claim its spreading mostly among heterosexual women but I suspect that this claim is based on the African stats and not the US stats) that may be the case but still the majority of aids people in the world are straight females. Aids does NOT discriminate AIDS has nothing to do with gay rights. Because it doesn't support their argument. They aren't the only ones to do it. People aren't going to bring up facts against their own cases in a debate. It would just weaken the entire thing. Why is it that most shraight homophobic people claim that AIDS/HIV is a gay disease? i highly doubt that new born babies in africa are considered gay at that age in life Why do Homophobes post pages that do not support their claims? First that is 2005, second that is NOT new AIDS cases that is a total of PWA's in general, it has nothing to do with new cases. The number of new cases probably due to HETEROSEXUAL contact grew by 42%; cases probably due to sex between men grew by 24%; and the number among injecting drug users fell by less than 1%. ------------------------------... Did I read it wrong.. or did it just say that TWICE the number of HETEROSEXUALS contracted aids than same sex partners...? . |
