Which is worse, an atheist speaking against God or a Christian claiming AIDS to be God's weapon against sin? |
Although one is just as bad as the other I would have to say the Christian making the ungodly claim. It is one thing for an atheist to commit blasphemy, but for a Christian to make an ungodly claim in God's name is really inexcusable. What do you think? I think you make a excellent point. Atheists aren't really harming anyone by their choice to believe in humanism. But the devil knows if he can bring corruption into the church then he can spread the poison both inside the walls as well as outside! And also, I believe an Atheist will receive more mercy on judgment day than one of these hypocrites! Since god doesn't exist it is obviously the Christian promoting hatred. An atheist claiming "anything" is worse. The latter. This person is completely hypocritical, and also woefully uninformed. The virus that causes AIDS doesn't care if you are a "sinner" or not - it will infect you if it gets the chance. Are all the children that got infected in eastern Europe and Africa by improper medical techniques "sinners"? Are the women who are raped in sub-Saharan Africa by men who mistakenly think this will cure their HIV? So I guess I am agreeing with you (shudder), but I wouldn't invite either of them to dinner. :o) Atheists don't speak against god,... they speak against the "existance" of god, so the "christian" in your question is the only "bad" one. I think they're both wrong. If you don't believe or agree with someone just go to the next issue in life. That's my philosophy. an Atheist who doesn't care |
